Omentir

Clay Alternatives

A Clay alternative when the waterfall never becomes a LinkedIn send. Clay is the table. Omentir is the path from ICP to a DM. If columns are the product, stay in Clay.

Stay in Clay if custom enrichment across many vendors is the advantage. Move to Omentir if the table is beautiful and last month still had no LinkedIn conversations.

Omentir and Clay

Interface you stare at

Omentir
Agents, lead groups, campaigns, inbox
Clay
A table of rows, columns, and provider waterfall cells

Who enjoys the product

Omentir
A founder who wants a send this week
Clay
An operator who likes chaining APIs and credits across vendors

Time to first LinkedIn DM

Omentir
Finder or Steal Customers, then a campaign. Hours if My Product is filled
Clay
Depends on the table, the send tool you bolt on, and who maintains it

What a column is for

Omentir
Omentir does not ask you to design columns. It asks you to name a buyer
Clay
Each column is a provider, formula, or AI step you must keep alive

What it will not become

Omentir
A fifty-provider enrichment IDE
Clay
A LinkedIn inbox and send window product by itself

This page compares Omentir with Clay only. Feature sets change. Confirm current packaging on each product site before you buy.

Columns Omentir will not replace

Technographic waterfalls, custom scoring formulas, and 'if provider A is empty then provider B' are Clay work. Do not expect Omentir to grow those columns. Expect Omentir to make them optional for a LinkedIn-only motion. If you combine the two, one system owns who gets messaged. Dual ownership of the same row is how you double-send.

A waterfall is not a send

Clay is loved because it lets a sharp operator cascade Hunter, then another vendor, then an AI cell, then a webhook. That is a craft. It is also how a week disappears into credit logs while nobody messaged a human. Omentir refuses that craft on purpose. You describe a buyer or a competitor. The product finds people and sends on LinkedIn.

If your advantage is a proprietary enrichment graph, Clay is the workshop. If your advantage is supposed to be conversations, the workshop is a stall.

When the table is the product

Keep Clay when RevOps is the buyer, when you must mix five paid providers, and when the output is a file other systems consume. Confirm current providers and credit rules on clay.com. Omentir will not reproduce that graph.

Leave Clay in week one of a founder test. Do not build a waterfall to decide if LinkedIn outbound works. Run a finder. Add Clay later if you can name a field that actually changes who you contact.

Time to first DM is the only founder metric

Ask how long until a real person gets a LinkedIn message you would be willing to put your name on. In Omentir that clock starts when My Product and a finder exist. In Clay that clock starts when the table is done and a send tool is wired. If nobody on the team wants to be the Clay person, the table will rot and you will still have no DMs.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Omentir finds LinkedIn prospects and runs outreach. If you need a multi-provider enrichment canvas, Clay is still that canvas.

Do not assume a native sync. Verify any webhook or CSV path against current product behavior. A cleaner first test is an Omentir finder on the same ICP, so you learn whether the table was required.

Apollo is a database you search. Clay is a table you build. Omentir is a send loop. The Clay page is about plumbing versus DMs. The Apollo page is about stale exports versus live discovery.

If the table has no send date, the table is not outbound

Name one buyer. Run a finder. See a thread before you add another provider column.
