How many LinkedIn profile views per day is safe?

There is no official "you may view 87 profiles" number. Community reports for free accounts often sit in a few dozen to low hundreds before throttling. Paid and Navigator seats can go further. Treat those as rumors, the same way you treat 100 invites a week.

What gets people in trouble is a burst: a scraper or a human clicking search results as fast as the page loads. LinkedIn Help tells Sales Navigator users to remove extensions that scrape or cause a high number of profile views. Believe that sentence.

A workable habit is to open profiles you will actually judge, with gaps, during hours you would be working. If you need 200 names, take them over days, or use a search product instead of speed-clicking.

Views plus invites in the same tight window stack risk. Research in the morning, send a smaller invite batch later, or the other way around. Do not do both as a machine.

If search is the bottleneck, that is what Sales Navigator is for. If sending is the bottleneck, viewing more people will not create invite room.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Doing it 15 times in a morning is weird. They may notice repeated public views.

Opening the profile is the view people mean. Hover cards and search snippets are a different surface. Do not use that as a loophole to click everything.

Stop. Finish the check honestly. Resume at a slower pace the next day. Do not switch IPs to keep clicking.
