How do I handle "send me more information" on LinkedIn?
"Send me more info" can mean interest, a polite brush-off, or an assistant collecting vendor mail. Reply the same day with one page of substance: what it does, who it is for, one proof point, and a question ("is this for the AE ramp, or for the founder doing it alone?").
Do not send a 30-slide deck unasked. Do not send a Calendly only. They asked for information. Give some, then offer the call as optional.
If they never reply after the info, one bump a few days later is enough. Then treat it as a maybe-later. A drip of "did you read the PDF" is unpaid homework you assigned yourself.
Put the file where they do not have to fill a form. A gated asset right after a LinkedIn yes feels like a bait switch.
If you do not have a one-pager, write four sentences in the thread. That often outperforms the brand PDF nobody updates.
Frequently asked questions
If they give an email, yes. LinkedIn is awkward for files. Ask once. Do not demand it as a filter.
A two-minute video they did not ask for is still a tax. Offer it. Send it if they say yes.
Give a range and what changes the number. Hide-the-price theater after they asked is how you lose serious buyers.
Only with a real opt-in. A LinkedIn "send info" is not newsletter consent.
